96) Investor Challenge #7 -No Trust in The Consultant




Investor will never said it out but this may be one of the main reason they refused to invest.

They have NO TRUST in the Consultant.

a) No Trust that the Consultant will last long in this career.
They may trust the Consultant as a friend or relative.  However, they have no faith that the Consultant will continue in this career. The Investor may had seen many people promoting the investment product and then gave up later. The Consultant may also do a few unrelated things and keep changing the products.

By promoting a lot of unrelated things, there is no specific strength that the Consultant can be related to. To the investor, you cannot be the BEST in EVERYTHING. Focus on one thing and be very good at it.

b) No Trust because the Consultant just started.  
As any person just started in any career, the knowledge is still limited. The investor don't want to be the Consultant's "white mouse" or be part of the learning process. Nobody likes to be "sacrificed" and be part of the mistakes that "newbies" made.

c) No Trust because of previous bad experience. 
The investor may had the bad experience that the previous consultant stopped the career and failed. They have also heard from others who had similar bad experience.Bad experiences normally travel far and wide. People also tend to believe bad experiences more than good experiences. In this scenario, there is nothing much the consultant can do, except to keep doing this career and build the confidence in the consultant's services. The good way is to be successful and fast in getting the trust.


U Need TRUST in
UNit TRUST.

The Consultant has to increase the investor's trust level in him or her. The Consultant has to keep improving the skills, continuous learning, work hard and build the work ethics and professionalism. Do the things that builds more trust.

Inform the investors that the Consultant has many other team members and leaders helping one another.  There is always a team of people helping the investor.

Let the Investor knows of the nearest Branch offices that they can go to for further help from the company. Also let them know that the company is always near them to help.

The Consultant has to keep updating the investors that the Consultant is attending training, seminars and reading related books.

There is always the Human Touch that builds trust in the Consultant. Show care and concern about the Investor's investment.

The Trust had to be built over time.
If the Trust is broken, it will never be same again.
