97) Do You Really Need Money?

Besides the emotional part of our life needs, we also need the physical parts.

When you think deeper on the physical needs, you don't really want money.

You actually want what money can buy for you.

Money is just an exchange medium. You want to be able to change the money into what you want or need. The great thing about money is that it can be easily accumulated and kept without getting rotten.

In the old days, people keep food to eat in the winter or when there is drought or bad weather.

For example, the fishermen made salted fish from the extra fish they couldn't finish eating. As the sea fish were already dead, they cannot be kept very long without any special way.

During the stormy season, it is dangerous to go to the sea to catch fish. So, the salted fish can be eaten when the fishermen cannot go out to catch fish.

Now, money had become very complicated and can even be traded. Money can even make more money.  As long as people wants the money, it is still valuable. But, if there is a crisis, the money value dropped. Then, you get the SUPER INFLATION where the money became useless.

There is a saying,

Money Cannot Buy Everything,
But Everything Needs Money.


From the religious perspective, the money you have cannot be brought over to the "other side".
No matter how much you have in this world, the "other side" don't value your money.

What you really need is the "values" that you can bring over.

Be kind, do more charitable acts, love more, share your knowledge.
What is left behind is the memories about you.

What changes that you had made during your "stay here".
