76) Unit Trust Consultants Cannot Sell Unit Trust.
Unit Trust fund is not a product that you can buy at a shop. For example, you can sell a bottle of drinking water, but you can’t sell unit trust.
Unit trust does not have any shape, colour, size or texture. Unit Trust is not a physical product. It is just a financial concept.
As a Unit Trust Consultant (UTC), you can only assist your friend to transfer his/her money from a bank account to a Unit Trust Management Company (UTMC).
The UTMC will receive the money and convert the money into units of a Unit Trust fund. After the units are created, the money is held by a Trustee.
Now the UTMC will use the money in the fund to trade shares, bonds and place into money market instruments.
Following this concept, a UTC cannot sell Unit Trusts.
It is a transfer and conversion of your money to prepare for your future financial needs.
So there is no selling, only sharing of knowledge.
Do share your financial planning knowledge and help your friends to plan for their future financial needs.
No Selling, Just Sharing.
